When & Where

The markets operate from the first Friday in May to the last Friday in October, which covers the top ends beautiful dry season. Located in Palmerston's Goyder Square and adapting to the ever changing landscape of the Palmerston CBD, the markets have always used Goyder Square as a centre for activities and entertainment, sharing it with the thousands of Rainbow Lorikeets who also call it home.

The Palmerston Market stalls are a snapshot of the Palmerston and rural area community in general, with origins from Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, Italy, Greece, Philippines, Australia, England and many more. The markets are a great example of how people from different backgrounds can live and work together in harmony.
